This page is about the Norwegian noise-pop band Europ Europ. They've been doing this since 1996. And by saying "doing this" we mean that they've been doing this as a band. Making ambient drones, combined with sampling, electric noise and post-punk beats. Before the band, one may ask, what exactly did they do? They did the same thing! Making music which consisted of drones, sampling, electronic noise and post-punk beats.
For the Norwegian page we've made a handful of themes so far. Gradually we're gonna translate a few of those webpages into English, although our aim is NOT to make the English page an exact copy of the Norwegian one. Because we have better things to do. And we're not that good in English. And it's more fun to be unpredictable. And that goes both ways: If we feel like having an article in English, we'll put it here, in the English corner, without necessarily translating it to Norwegian.
Why should you follow this page?
There's the editorial "Adios", then there's the News section. For "Puls" we'll write about artefacts associated with bands and fandoms (Chacka Chacka of Europ Europ is also an editor of a fanzine). "Refleks" is about yesteryear's touring, and some cool things EE have encountered around the globe - seen from our, the fanclub's perspective, that is. (We have no idea if nostalgia is EE's cup of tea, nor is it ours. (So wth do we do it?!)) Anyhow, there's lots of different things to pay attention to there: recipes, children's stories, music recommendations from around the world - found in a 1984 dark wave fanzine. Hopefully the page will just be more and more beautiful for each day. We're planning to start a pirate radio show, and from the radio page we'll write a bit about what we've been talking about or vice versa (as it seems like we're going to do in the beginning): write first and then talk about it. Finally, thus far, there's "Spider", where we put up links from places we love.
Oh, in the future we really hope to make walking trips around Oslo possible. Maybe we'll develop an app or something, and then one will have to prove in some way that one has actually walked the route. Then after many enough trips, a fancy reward is given. We don't know yet if this will take place in the city or out in the woods. Or both. (The distance from the inner city to the woods is short). Being out in the nature and just having a walk is not uncommon in Norway, although we wanna make it Europ Europ related!

These songs are from a split record with Mindy Misty. It's almost like the two bands are falling in and out of the same song - simply because it's two different genres that they're playing. So, inspired by this, we give you the opportunity to stream the song(s) through TWO links! As one starts to play through one of the links, the other one stops, but it doesn't "rewind", it only freezes until one presses play again! You may want to push the skip button for retrieving another exciting song from the record!
