The “Meg!” thing
Okay so here’s a little thing that confuses people sometimes: I’m Norwegian, and “meg” means “me” in Norwegian. That’s why the button says “Meg!” — it’s literally just me yelling “ME!” in my own language.
Music stuff (the lo-fi part)
I’ve released three lo-fi albums, and yes, there’s a fourth one on the way.
And just to be clear: when I say lo-fi, I don’t mean the modern “study beats / cozy rain / aesthetic playlist” thing. That’s something I only recently learned about.
I mean 1990s lo-fi in the tradition of Pavement and Beck — a little noisy, a little crooked, the kind of songs that feel like they were recorded with bad equipment.
Anyway, I think it has a great energy. It was basically a philosophy back then.
Real life update
Now I’m a librarian, and honestly? I love it. I get to be around stories all day, help people find what they’re looking for, and talk to all sorts of people.
It’s peaceful, it’s useful, and it makes me feel like I’m in the right place.
